Nokia C6-00 Firmware Updated to v42.0.4

It’s been almost two days and I’m wondering why anyone else hadn’t reported about the update. Let me take the job and tell you that the firmware (device software) for Nokia C6-00 was updated to v42.0.4, the previous version was v41.0.10.

Nokia has started the delivery of a software update for the Nokia C6-00. The new firmware version is 42.0.4, and is 527kB in size. Fire up the Update menu or plug your C6 into a computer and launch Nokia Suite or Nokia Software Updater.

You can update your Nokia C6 firmware over OTA (Over-The-Air) or by using Windows PC applications  Nokia’s Software Updater or Nokia Suite. The Nokia C6 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always good idea to backup all of your personal data before updating the device firmware. The OTA update is about 527kB in size.
