Nokia 5230 v51.0.002 : Nokia 5233 v51.1.002 Firmware Update Released
Nokia 5230 firmware updated to version 51.0.002.Its previous software version was 50.6.001.
The update is currently only downloadable via FOTA function by typing the code *#0000# on the keypad and then choosing the "Check for Updates" from the Options menu.

i downloaded this update from my mobile though internet btw.... i got my phone updated and thanks for this post also so that next time i will update my phone through nokia pc suite
i recently bought this nokia 5233 and i didnt know the exact feature of it so i asked my friends and they showed me and one of them used some numbers in telephone of nokia and he got the update information and they were shocked and later they said that i have got good updated phone and yesterday at night i just for timepass i went to phone update in settings and it showed me a latest version of the phone update and i downloaded it and hurry i got my phone updated more than my friends
I have downloaded the update in Nokia 5233. But after update no java application are getting installed. This is Very bad. yes, the default browser is improved but I still prefer to use Opera.
I went to nokia care.But unfortunately installed firmware version of nokia 5233 in my nokia 5230.What should I do now?
How it could be possible....people of Nokia care will fix this issue...after all this is all there fault....:)
